The Freight One and the National Transport Company have signed counter service contracts
The Freight One (Freight One) and the National Transport Company (NTC) have signed three-year service contracts under which they will provide each other with transport services for the transportation of goods by rail.
"The focus of our Development Strategy until 2023 is to increase the level of customer service, as well as increase the operational efficiency. These contracts will allow us to increase the level of technological interaction in the transportation of our companies, which will lead to increased flexibility and accuracy in building supply chains, as well as reduce unproductive losses," said Sergey Karataev, General Director of the Freight One.
According to the terms of the contracts, the Freight One provides the NTC with 5,000 wagons per month for transporting the products of partner enterprises. Within three years, about 14.3 million tons of cargo will be transported by the Freight One fleet. The NTC, in turn, provides 2100 gondola cars to the Freight One on a monthly basis. The planned volume of traffic in this fleet for three years is 6 million tons.
"The main goal of concluding service contracts between our companies is to be more flexible and faster on the network, to increase the efficiency of using rolling stock in the interests of customers. Optimal logistics solutions are the result of our cooperation with Freight One. Together, we will be able to provide a high level of service and maximum loading of cars, which will allow the shipper to reduce its costs," said General Director Denis Ilatovsky.
